A workshop for children 6 to 14 that teaches skills for Life, Literacy, and Learning.

Skills for Life

There are ten Life Engagement Exercises (the LEEs!) and they teach the seven basic connection skills:

Presence, Interest, Intention, Control, Perseverance, Focus, and Empathy

These are also the Session Engagement Exercises (SEEs) that we teach in our PeerCommunity CoCare Program. They are universal skills for all! How fabulous it is when children learn these and become skilled in them! LEEs build confidence and resilience, they are powerful in helping youngsters overcome shyness, and they set a foundation for life.

And there are two bonus LEEs:

Setting Clear Boundaries and Respecting the Boundaries of Others.

The Skills for Life class also teaches foundational study skills for a lifetime of successful, self-aware learning.
